A Warrior/Monk is what i think as the best farming build

Most people wont tell you farming places because "they dont want Anet to nerf them" But I think crystal desert would be good. I saw an awsome video where someone cleared out the desert pretty fast If i find it ill post the link

Personnaly I love E/Mo.. using smithing prayers and protection is the best build so far.. it's just a different kind of damage.

Here are the spells that I'm using:

1) Divine Boon (Divine Favor)
2) Guardian (Protection)
3) Balthazar Aura (smithing)
4) Ether Renewal (energy storage)
5) Protective spirit (Protection)
6) Zealot's fire (Smithing)
7) Aura of restauration (energy storage)
8) Retribution (Smithing)

Attributes :

Smithing : 10
Protection : 10
remaining in energy storage with the head band (+1) and a sup. energy storage (+3)... it should be at 14-15 at that point.

You'll notive that all 8 skills used are enchantments. With 14 energy storage and all enchantment on at the moment, you will receive +160 healing every casting and something like 30 energy... spam divine boon and you're good to go

I can solo most of the things in the desert too. The only time I farm though is when I need refund points, so anything I can solo that gives good xp will be perfect for me.

This build isn't perfect, the only thing you can solo pretty easy is the close-combat type, the long range are real hard. If you fight a mesmer with backfire, it's impossible.

but everyone has their preferences.

Good luck.

-- EDIT : added attributes points

why use divine boon if you're not even a monk primary to put in divine favor to make it worthwhile

axe is a nice buil dof an warrior i use right now

cyclone axe, executioner, wathcyourself, balthzar aurora, balthazaur spirit, symbol of wrath, zealot fire, sheild of judgemnet, healing sig.

its pretty good zealot fire combines with cyclone axe so if you use zealots and then cast cyclone youl do +12 damge plus i have 35 on my zelaots fire.

i use gladiator armor to be able to use balthzar aurrora.

Really simple...

1) It's an enchantement, so gives more healing/energy used with ether renewal
2) It's spammable, no cooldown and cast time of ?? sec.
3) Low cost 5 energy to cast + 2...

I don't use it for the healing... i don't need it really.. it's just a spell you can spam.. used with ether renewal + zealot's fire, you can cast it 7 to 8 times in 10 seconds, which will heal and re-fill your energy.. and you will have dealt 140-160 dmg depending on your smithing attributes !

im not sure there is a "best farm build"....from my experience ALL classes can farm, you just need to figure out which is the best place for your class.

hell my ranger farms pretty effectively.

On my E/Mo, I used the collectors to get my weapons. If I remember well, the off-hand is coming from a collector just outside Port Sledge, it has a Energy +12 (with energy storage requirements) with recharge 20% / fast cast 20%... the collector asks Intricate Grawl Necklace (5).

The fire wand that I'm using is ... I don't remember where I got it.. i think it is a drop from a monster, a plain white fire wand

I also found an air staff right outside Camp Rankor which is max dmg, and 20/20 too.. with a +10 energy. This collector asks for frosted griffon wings.
